Russian grain and sunflower oil, shipped from Black Sea terminals

Demetra Trading sources milling wheat, feed grains, crude sunflower oil and oilseed meals from elevators across southern Russia, the Central Black Earth region and Volga basin. Cargoes load at Black Sea terminals — Novorossiysk, Taman, Rostov-on-Don, Azov and Tuapse — and at Baltic ports including Ust-Luga and Saint Petersburg for buyers in North Africa and West Africa.

Parcel sizes range from 3,000–8,000 MT on river-sea coasters through 20,000–35,000 MT Handysize stems to 50,000–65,000 MT Panamax programs. Each shipment is documented with a Certificate of Analysis, phytosanitary certificate, certificate of origin and independent SGS or equivalent survey at the load port. Quality and weight are fixed at loading under GAFTA-standard contracts.
